How does it work?
Record your tennis match (tournament or practice) using your smart phone or action-like camera (GoPro).
You’ll then upload the match to Tennis Analytics through a link we’ll provide, or you can send it to us via the Swing Vision app. We’ll walk you through the entire process.
The video is placed on Dartfish where we’ll review your match.
We’ll setup a zoom where we’ll share our screen to show you what you’re doing well and what you need to work on.
If you have a coach at home, we’ll communicate with them about the appropriate development plan.
We’ll have continuous communication before and after your tournament matches to make sure you focused on the right things.

FAQ’s
-
What is the purpose of the pre & post match calls?
Pre match calls are extremely helpful in making sure the player has the right things on their mind going in to a match. We make sure they have simple, clear, and purposeful thoughts that are important to them. Players can have great intentions and great attitudes, but if they’re thinking the wrong things, their chances for success will diminish.
Post match calls are important for multiple reasons.
Most kids are playing two matches a day. Handling the time in between both matches can help a player get off to a great start in the second match, or a terrible one.
They help a player calm down after a loss.
Handling the end of the day is also very important if there’s a match the next day. Some days require certain types of meals or certain types of cool down methods. Some times the next day’s match is at an awkward time and we need to discuss when to warm up and when to eat.

What is the purpose of strategic tournament scheduling?
There is a “match rhythm” that players need to get into to perform their best. You can’t just walk up to a tournament after not having played one for a few weeks and expect to play at a high level. Just like serves and forehands need to be practiced, matches need to be practiced as well. So you want to plan ahead of the higher level tournaments so you’re peaking at the right time.
Also, there’s a time for juniors to play in an older division, and a time to play in their usual division. There is no static formula for that. There are ebbs and flows to the year, ebbs and flows to a players confidence, and ebbs and flows in results that are constantly being analyzed. Playing up at the wrong time can hurt a player. Playing at the wrong level for too long can hurt a player. And playing tournaments are random can hurt a player too long.
If you make too many mistakes when scheduling tournaments, you’ll the player up to perform at their worst, destroying their confidence. That’s hard to come back from.
-
Why is there a 3 month commitment for some of the packages?
It takes time for me to get to know the player. Every person has their own unique personality, therefore require to be coached a certain way. Finding out what to say, when to say it, and how to say it takes a great understanding of what kind of person I’m working with. That discovery process cannot be done in a month.
-
Have there been any issues from the opponent’s parents when recording matches? Do we need to ask for permission?
Complaints from opponents or there parents are an extremely rare occurrence. You do not need to ask for permission to record the match. However, the parents do appreciate it when you do ask. Before we get started, I’ll let you know how to handle any potential issues that may arise.
-
What happens if we don’t record enough matches in one month? Does it carry over?
Yes, it does carry over for 3 months. I cannot guarantee that we can make it up after that as the work might pile up.
-
Can I change packages at any point?
Yes, you can change packages. The change will go into effect at the beginning of the next month.
-
What is your cancellation policy?
If you sign up for a package that has a 3 month minimum, you can cancel after 3 months. You must provide a 15 day notice. If not, the cancellation will go into effect after the next month.
If you purchased a package that has no 3 month minimum, then you may cancel at anytime.
-
If I purchase a package that includes match reviews, can I purchase extra match reviews?
Yes, they can be paid for separately.
-
I’m interested in one of the remote coaching packages but I already have a coach at home. How will that work?
I will continuously communicate with your coach at home so we are all on the same page. My goal is to work as a team, with your coach, not against your coach.
-
What ages are your programs for?
Our programs are for kids starting around the age of 11, all the way to adults. What’s more important is how many tournaments the player is playing. The player should be competing consistently throughout the year to benefit the most from my program.
-
How do you review the matches for my child?
We’ll do the review on Google Meet. They’re about an hour long. We’ll discuss the analytics report and then go over some important points in the match. We’ll discuss both good and bad things, what we need to continue doing, and what we need to improve on. We’ll also discuss HOW to improve things.
-
Do the parents need to be on the match review? Or is there a way for them to watch it?
The parents do not have to be on the review. The session will be recorded and they’ll receive the link once it’s been uploaded.
